YLEM is a watchmaking project meant to bring new expressions of design-led watchmaking to the industry.

The word YLEM is from the discipline of theoretical physics, and denotes the primordial state of matter.

For us as a brand, we approach watchmaking in a similar sense by theoretically considering what is necessary in a watch design and what is simply convention.

With our inaugural release, the Addendum, we push the boundaries of watch design with our uniquely shaped bezel which integrates the large crown seamlessly without interrupting case symmetry.

The case subtly curves downwards, flowing into the wearer’s wrist for a comfortable and ergonomic fit suited for every use. An all or nothing approach to watchmaking that does not sacrifice features and specifications for design. YLEM will continue to lead the industry with the next generation of design ideas, while making very capable watches suited for every occasion.
